We are passionated travelers, always ready to meet new people and learn something new. It all started when we worked in a cruise ship, for 3 years, through which we explored 90 different cities in 45 countries, through all 5 continents.

Then, after living a few years in Paris, we realized there was no better place to live than our beloved hometown: Amarante! Its history, gastronomy, nature and above all its people make it one-of-a-kind!

This walking city tour will take you to the streets and alleys of an emblematic and romantic city, where you can breathe its history and heritage visiting unique sites and magnificent monuments.

The city has a profound religious tradition, no doubt due to the monumental convent of S. Gonçalo, near the bucolic Tâmega River, its majestic baroque churches and the beautiful and magnificent S. Gonçalo bridge.

You will also have the opportunity to discover some great Portuguese personalities like Amadeu de Souza-Cardoso, Teixeira de Pascoaes or António do Lago Cerqueira.

Guest Pick-up and Drop-off

Amarante is just an hour away from Porto and in case you are not driving yourself, you have two options:

1. The Comfort way: We pick you up anywhere in Porto with drop-off in the same location (45€ up to 2 guests and 6€ for each additional guest)

2. The Explorer way: By Bus (7,5€ in each direction) and we will meet at the bus station

Free for children up to 4 years old and 40% discount for children from 5 up to 12 years old!
